Smiling Faces Mouths wide from ear to ear But where does their emotional compass steer? Are they actually happy or putting up a front? I feel as though I should ask But that'd be far too blunt Sun up to sun down I bring hope and cheers That their smiling faces surely fade And come about with true scars and tears Don't go into an endless loop of a facade Please try to find help while frowning but trod It is only in vulnerableness that our true selves show Don't let it fade away or ever let it go For our true self is the person we love most No need to brag to others No need to boast One day we'll have smiling faces and actually mean it A merry good time and it's not the season We the broken people do not dare need a reason So live life freely and don't try to fit in Originality and beauty is surely truly bliss -MegaHealer | |
